Saint David Catholic School is committed to preparing students for a digital world through purposeful, innovative, and faith-centered technology integration. As a 1:1 technology school, every student from Kindergarten through 8th grade has access to their own device to support learning, creativity, and collaboration.

Device Access Across Grade Levels:

Pre - Kindergarten: Each classroom is equipped with a dedicated set of iPads that allow students to explore early learning apps, practice foundational skills, and engage in guided technology activities.

Kindergarten – 1st Grade: Every student receives an iPad for daily use, supporting interactive lessons, literacy development, digital storytelling, and hands-on learning across subjects.

2nd – 8th Grade: Students use Chromebooks, allowing them to complete assignments, conduct research, collaborate on group projects, and work within platforms that prepare them for high school digital expectations.

Purposeful Integration In Learning:

Technology is more than a device, it is a tool for creating enriched, engaging learning experiences. Students regularly use digital platforms to complete and upload assignments, take assessments, and participate in interactive lessons that bring concepts to life. Teachers incorporate multimedia resources, instructional apps, and age-appropriate digital tools to support differentiation and student engagement.

From coding and research skills to digital literacy and responsible technology use, students learn how to navigate the digital world confidently and safely. Our media curriculum ensures students develop the skills needed to thrive academically while preparing them for future STREAM opportunities and high school readiness.
