Media & Technology at Saint David Catholic School
At Saint David Catholic School, we are committed to preparing students for a digital world through purposeful, innovative, and faith-centered technology integration. In a society shaped by rapid advances in communication and information, we teach our students to use technology not only with skill, but with wisdom and virtue. As Pope Francis reminds us, “The digital world can be an environment rich in humanity; a network not of wires but of people.” Guided by this vision, our media and technology program helps students become ethical, responsible, and faith-filled digital citizens.
As a 1:1 technology school, every student from Kindergarten through 8th grade has access to a personal device that supports creativity, collaboration, and interactive learning across all subjects. Technology at Saint David is thoughtfully integrated—never replacing human connection, but enhancing engagement, communication, and understanding in age-appropriate ways.

Purposeful Integration In Learning:

At Saint David, technology is more than a device—it is a thoughtfully used educational tool that enriches learning without overshadowing human connection or Catholic values. Students regularly use digital platforms to complete and upload assignments, take assessments, and participate in interactive lessons that bring abstract concepts to life. Teachers integrate multimedia resources, instructional apps, and age-appropriate digital tools to differentiate instruction and support diverse learning needs.
Our media curriculum cultivates essential skills such as coding, research literacy, digital creativity, and responsible online behavior. Through explicit instruction in digital citizenship, students learn to navigate the online world with integrity, prudence, and respect for the dignity of others—reflecting Christ in their interactions both on and offline.
By combining strong academic preparation with a Catholic vision of technology as a means of connection, service, and creativity, Saint David Catholic School equips students with the knowledge, habits, and values they need to thrive in high school, STREAM disciplines, and the ever-evolving digital landscape.
