Saint David Catholic School

Saint David Catholic School’s preschool program is designed for children ages 3 and 4, providing a nurturing, Catholic-centered environment that supports the developmental growth of each child. Our program uses the Creative Curriculum, a research-based, hands-on approach that encourages learning through play, exploration, and discovery. This curriculum fosters language, social, emotional, spiritual, and cognitive development, helping children build the foundation for lifelong learning.

 

To ensure we meet the individual needs of every student, we use Teaching Strategies GOLD, an observational, ongoing assessment tool that tracks each child’s progress and guides teachers in tailoring instruction to support growth across all developmental areas.

 

In addition to religion, math, reading, social studies, and science, our preschoolers enjoy a variety of co-curricular activities, including art, music, library, Spanish, and physical education, which enhance creativity, self-expression, and overall development. This program focuses on developing the whole child spiritually, academically, socially, and emotionally, preparing them for a successful transition into elementary school while fostering a love for learning that begins in these formative early years.
