At Saint David Catholic School, our STREAM program—Science, Technology, Religion, Engineering, Art, and Math—embraces the truth that faith and reason work together in the search for knowledge. As Pope Saint John Paul II beautifully taught, “Faith and reason are like two wings on which the human spirit rises to the contemplation of truth.” Guided by this vision, our STREAM curriculum helps students discover the beauty of God’s creation while developing the skills needed to understand, shape, and serve the world around them.

From Pre-K3 through 8th grade, students engage in a dynamic, hands-on learning experience that grows with them each year. Our youngest learners delight in simple experiments, sensory exploration, and the wonder of how things work, while older students tackle increasingly complex challenges—integrating technology, engineering concepts, scientific inquiry, and creative problem-solving. Across all grade levels, STREAM learning strengthens curiosity, confidence, and critical thinking.

Because STREAM at Saint David is intentionally anchored in religion, students learn to see their studies through a Catholic lens. Cross-disciplinary connections—especially with art, ethics, and theology—help students understand both the “how” and the “why” of scientific discovery, fostering an appreciation for human dignity, responsible innovation, and stewardship of God’s creation.

We are currently in the process of obtaining FCC STREAM certification, demonstrating our commitment to rigorous, high-quality STREAM education that prepares students for meaningful future opportunities. As they explore emerging technologies, creative design, engineering principles, and real-world applications, students gain early insight into potential career paths and learn to use their gifts with purpose.
